Our students learn through Units of Inquiry that are designed to encourage and motivate, allowing them to view learning as a lifelong and exciting process. In addition to our core academic subjects, students are introduced to complementary subjects including Art, Music, and Physical Education.

Middle School

Grades 6-8 are pivotal years in a child’s life. During this time of immense developmental change, MSA provides an environment where students can safely expand their horizons and stretch themselves mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Upon entry into Grade 9, our students prepare Four-Year Education Plans based on their individual interests and aptitudes. As they progress through their remaining years of study, they utilize the internationally recognized Alberta Curriculum as their framework for learning.

Rio & Luis Tomaz Parents to Malik & Catelaya Grade 6 students

Moving Malik and Catelaya to Mount St. Agnes has been an incredible experience. The transition was exceptionally smooth, and they’ve adapted wonderfully.

The positive, family-like environment has helped them grow both academically and personally. They feel supported, and we’ve seen real improvement in their confidence and schoolwork.

There was never a question about where my children would go to school; it was always MSA for me. Lindsay and Mila are the third generation from my family to attend MSA.

The first thing that I tell people when they ask about MSA is that it teaches you much more than just academics. MSA teaches students faith in God and themselves, it promotes a respect for others, and encourages charitable acts and service to your community as a whole.

MSA is the epitome of “it takes a village” as the school community is a family who are always there for each other and will lend a hand when needed, which is what I wanted for my children.
