School Information:
Lil’ Saints Summer Camp: registration for the first two weeks of camp is now closed but you can still register for weeks 3-6. Registration Form.
New volunteers to serve hot lunch in September: We are in need of volunteers to help serve hot lunch in September. You would be required to be in the kitchen by 11:45am until 12:45 pm. You will serve middle/high school first and then elementary. All that is required is to collect tickets and then pass the plate of food (prepared by La Trattoria staff) to the students. We are in particular need of people for Wednesdays and a few for Mondays. The schedule is for you to volunteer every other week. If you are interested in helping you can email Lisa Rhind at lrhind@msa.bm
After School Program is looking for two employees to help will supervision of children from 2:30-5:30pm daily. If you are interested, please apply in writing to Mrs. Sue Moench, Principal at smoench@msa.bm. The position will begin on September 7, 2010.
University/College Tour – November 2010
The last two MSA University Tours were a huge success. The students found it a rewarding experience. All agreed that the visits helped them decide which university would be the best fit for them. The tour enabled students to compare campuses, programs, residences and other services. They also gained an appreciation for the location of each of the universities and they were able to see campus living from the perspective of students attending the university. All factors play an important role in choosing a post secondary school. We will be offering a tour in November 2010, please see the attached flyer for more information.

BAA Under-6 years Football Program: September 2010 sees the start of Bermuda Athletic Association’s new, Under-6 yrs Football Program. The “BAA Tigers” is the youngest age group in our Youth Program and is open to boys and girls with the emphasis on: Developing the basic ‘building blocks’ and ball skills; Developing motor and cognitive skills; Instilling self-confidence and teamwork; Encouraging a healthy lifestyle and…FUN!
All “Tigers” should be between 4 and 6 years old as of the 31st December 2010. Sessions will take place once per week, Sunday mornings, at BAA Field. A parent or guardian must attend the session, though is not required to participate. Registration Fee is $200.00 and includes BAA Junior Membership and Training Kit. Awesome August Camp: Here is an awesome, fun filled camp that will be held for three weeks in August. August 2 – August 20th from 8:00am – 4:30pm (extended hours available). Age: Elementary. The camp will be at St. Michael’s Church Hall in Paget. Cost is $180 a week and spaces are limited. There will be games, story writing, theme days and more. Seeking Child Care Provider: A MSA teacher is seeking a child care provider for her baby as of January 2011. The baby will be approximately 4 months old. She is looking for someone who is close to town. If you know of anyone who may be interested please email sgwicks@msa.bm
